hey your like me I have done rc since the early 80's..my administrator job didnt give me the luxury to play as I wanted..but I retired and wanted to do it all including 3d..In my case I also became diabetic so I had to drop out for several years but my eysight improved and I bought a sim..It helped me alot and 3d is tricky but not as hard as it looks if you do it correctly.. the g2 is ok for general feel of rc but the afd is truly impeccable..I am flying 3d and giant and love the hobby more than ever ..its tough somedays I want to play golf all day and then fly .decision decision.lol..I do both life is good!!
