Default RE: Can I learn to learn 3D on a Sim?

www.aeroflypro.com is where to order it. Dont let anyone fool you, its the best sim for 3D on the market. I have tried em all and although its a little forgiving from a stall perspective the AFPD planes fly much more like the real thing. I have tweeked the incidence, cg and weight on AFPD and have gotten them much more realistic for stall tendencies. I couldnt even begin to tell you how much AFPD has helped me. I have been doing things with my 30% Edge 540T in real life that I wouldnt have dreamed of trying before I got AFPD. Thing is learning to setup throws and expo on your real planes so that they behave like the planes in the sim. Setup is just as important as practice. Its hard to do 3D with a plane that isnt setup right. Too little and they are sluggish and unresponsive, too much and they are twitchy and hard to control. Every plane has its sweet spot you just have to be willing to be patient and dial it in a little at a time.
