Default My First Trainee!

I learned to fly only last June. Today, I started teaching someone how to fly brand new to flying r/c. He did great. I was probably more nervous than he was. He had a Sig Kadet LT 40. I didn't know those things were taildraggers. I have almost zero experience with taildraggers so I was nervous about taking her up the first time, plus the wind was nice at 15 MPH!!!!! My first takeoff was not impressive, but we got her up and with my student on the buddy box, he flew her around and did very well. Never rolled her from a bank. We got in 4 flights today on the buddy box, each time flight skills improving. It was so much fun today helping someone get started in our great hobby and seeing his plane go home in one piece. Seems he had tried once before to fly by himself with *usual* results. I'm looking forward to helping him develop his skills up to solo status!

*This is the most awesome hobby!*
