I don't have a comment for you but I think you are right, I have a question for you in this vein: How do you get the thing apart I tried to remove the screw/shaft but the diff gear just rotates.

Also where did you get the aluminum diff gear?

Has anyone tried the Kevlar spur gear from Losi? Will it fit?
