I have a Magnum geared starter (similar to the Kavan unit) with two 7.2 volt 3000mah car packs wired in series. So far it has worked well with everything I have tried including 1.80 Saito ,R325 5-cyl Saito and a 1.80 MOKI. It is totally portable and very light weight.

Works for me.
