Your battery choice is stout enough for the motor; you just need to make sure it will work ok under the cockpit as far as CG goes, which should be 90mm back from the leading edge of the wing. You may be better with a couple TP2100's in parallel saddling the intake nacelles.
As far as throws go, where did you get your model? If it was from Mark Turner, it should have come with a CD that has pics showing the throws and you might want to go back and re-visit it. Finally...yes, you need a bungee. Do not try to hand launch this one as the tailcone is a smaller diameter and needs speed before it will kick in and perform. Only two people I know of have thrown this in the air, one will never do it again and the other does it consistently, but by the skin of his teeth everytime.
