not really. I know that a Fantom 15 powered rusty puts more abuse through the transmission of the drivetrain than the TRX 2.5, and the only traxxas truck i've SEEN tear up tranny parts on a regular basis is a VERY abused 9 turn/8 cell e-pede, which WILL stomp that Fantom 15 Rusty into the ground, and he's had no problems since he upgraded his trans to these parts:

Sorry, I had a brainfart, it's the topgear that's delrin, not the diff gear. Traxxas also has a tougher diff gear for the gear diff, too, if you don't wanna drop $60 on the ball diff.
