IMO 8scale is the ONLY way to go... if you new to r/c... go with the 8scale savage, MGT, LST, or any of the other dozen or so 8scale kits out. This is what I like.
I dont see how a savage is a 1/8 scale...ppl at my lhs compared my MGT to a savage and the MGT is bigger then it. The savage is like the same size as a T-Maxx which is proabable why they can share bodies.

Just get what you think looks cool. Thats what I do.

Hi ICrashThings, the Savage is marketed and sold as an 8scale kit... it is just sold with a undersized small body as are a few other 8scale kits I think to make it more appealing to the guys that want to use the smaller t maxx type size bodys.
