If youre looking for a bash truck that will just go over anything, I say a MGT or TMaxx would be good... I have not really driven a savage so I cant speak for the durability and quality of them, but looking them over and seeing my friends bash the living crap out of them, theyre a good truck as well. Just look at your LHS and see what the have plannty of parts for because if you bash, youre going to break something! Also, the lightning stadium is a good truck if you dont plan on doing alot of rockcrawling type things.. its fast enough (if not fast enough just get a diff clutch bell), easy to maintain, parts arent really readily available (not much will break on the RR if you dont go too crazy with it) but there isnt much to break, already is a RTR (just need a 7.2 stick pack, c cell batt fer the glow ignitor and fuel and youre running. But of course, I'm slightly biased because I own both the pro and RR, and the RR has had over 15 feet of air under it multiple times and not so much as a whimper from it other than the steering servo (you'll break the stock steering servo in a RTR anyway) But of course... I'm slightly biased...
