I flew 3 tanks out of mine yesterday in the field beside my house. There's not much room to make a landing and sometimes I have to make a go-around run because I mess it up. Well I had TWO dead sticks during that last flight. I had monkey'd with the needle valve trying to get it not to bog down when I was doing flat spins and I guess I lost the "sweet spot". I have to say I couldn't have made those dead stick landings any better!!! I was pretty high when it died each time and I had lots of time to shoot an approach luckily.
I finally got it to do an inverted flat spin a couple times! I started by climbing really high and rolling inverted while still in a 45 degree angle and killed the throttle. When it dropped I put the right stick in the top left and the left stick in the bottom right....let it spin a couple times and then started adding throttle and opposite aileron kinda quickly (much quicker than when I do an upright flat spin) and it just popped into a flat inverted spin! I could only get this to happen twice out of about 5 attempts though.
Hopefully I will get to try some more today!!!
