skyman i am sure you can use a cordless drill. Myself i prefer to keep my drill at home. I use a Magnum geared starter from Hobby People. Spent about 35.00 on it at the local Hobby shop. Have used it on a YS110 and all kinds of smaller engines. have not tried it on anything bigger yet.
