Default Katana First Flight

Well I flew my Creek Katana for the first time today.I am happy to report that it was a total success.Because the engine is new and not completly broken in yet,I flew it only once running very rich, but was very pleased.I feel confident that this will be a keeper. It came in at 10.75 lbs, dry. Here's the low down on the set up for hose who are interested.
OS 1.60
TurboJett incowl muffler
Vortec spinner
APC 18-6W prop
20 oz DuBro tank
Hydrimax 1200mah nimh,on top of the tank
JR A004 Chg/switch
Hitec 605 in each aileron
Hitech 645 on Rudder, mounted up front with a Nelson bellcrank, and Kevlar pull-pull cable,Carbon Fiber pushrod w/Titanium ends to drive it
Hitec 225 on each elevator, one servo was moved to the original rudder servo location,in order to move it forward a little, and even with the oppsite ele. servo.Carbon fiber pushrods w/titanium ends
Sullivan tail wheel assy.
I used Rocket City control horns with swivel ends and Rocket city Ball links on all servos.
I was unable to use the RC horns on the ailerons beacuse I didn't find a hard point in the aileron,so I used the supplied horn here.
I made the first flight without the cowl to help keep the engine cooler.I also left off the spinner.I didn't remember the CG location,so I added 3.5 oz of lead to the front to compensate, and it flew great.I am sure it is going to be fine without the added lead.Next weekend I will remove the lead and reinstall the cowl and spinner.
