Please forgive my question but, I thought tha retracts were more of a headache on rough ground than fixed u/c? Or, is it the mounting of the fixed u/c that is a problem? I think in my early stages, I will always be flying off a paved surface but would like to move on to retracts. Would it be better to simply fit them at the same time? Alan Cardash sells them for £160 a set!
