I'm not sure there is a "best". Ive seen the following used:

- one part of 5min epoxy (either part, just remember which part, in case you need to re-apply that day)
- elmers glue stick
- chapstick
- double sided tape

There are tons of options, that's for sure. It doesn't take much.
