Yes, I use a Canon Mini-DV digital camcorder. You then take the camcorder home and download and edit the video. Then
you can opt to put the video back onto the camcorder (with minimal to no loss of quality) or make a video CD, DVD, ect.
Thats the advantage of digital video. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 to edit the video.
If you get a digital camcorder, make sure it will allow analog input..that will allow you to record from the receiver.
