The plane is the 909. Got the plans from a friend who is building the 2+2 and 2000. I don't want to get into 2 meter planes - yet.

I already bought the balsa (very light) and some ply and lite-ply. I think I'll go with a glass cowl, a friend has a mold for it. I will have to find a good canopy that fits the plane (any suggestions?)

I expect good performance with the .91FX, if I can hit 8lb! I think I'll use 4 Futaba S3001 (2 ail, 2 ele) and a S9001 on the rudder pull-pull.

As for the gear, I thought of a fixed configuration, but I'll go with the retracts just because of the "looks".

There aren't many pattern flyers here in Chile, we are 9 in "advanced" level and only 5 people in F3A! I hope next year we see more people...
