Default Super Kraft ARFs

I posted these same questions in another forum by accident but thought that it was bested suited for the ARF forum... so here it is again...

------------------------------------------------------

I am looking at the Super Kraft .60 sized ARFs. They appear to be pretty decent kits for the price.

I am particulary interested in the Extra 300S (w/ Saito FA100) and the Staudacher GS300 (w/ Saito FA120S).

First, is there anyone has any experience with either of these planes who has something (good or bad) to say. Quality of the kit/hardware? Performance? What engine do/did you have in it?

Second, is there anyone has experience with BOTH of these planes who could compare/contrast them for me. Looks like the Extra is lighter with less wing area than the GS300 but that is all I can tell from the website. I am wondering if either one is 3D capable... if either one out-performs the other... if either one is of any better quality than the other... etc...

Do these ARFs require any modifications for better stability or performance? What kind of prop clearance do they have?

The GS300 .60 sized ARF calls for .91 to 1.20 4 cycle engine. Does a Saito 1.20 really fit in the cowling without cutting it up too much? What about the Saito .91 fitting in the Extra 300S?
