The GWS ESC's numbers are not for motor sizes. For example the ICS400 is a 15amp controller. Do not use the GWS battery packs as they are all underpowered. For paint use the Testors Master spray paint, it is safe for foam. You can use the 480 ESC but it is a bit heavy. My suggestion is to go with the Castle Creations Pixie 20 for 39.00. It is small and light weight and 20amps is more than enough for most brushed motor parkflyer applications. A 3s1p 1500 Lipo will work well with the 400 motor and will be much lighter than a nimh or nicad pack.
