Default RE: Where should the Intermediate Sequence skill level be?

Hey Troy.......

Speaking as I flew intermediate last year and this year will be flying advanced, I personally think that the "BIG" transition should be left where it is. I feel that Sportsman to Intermediate should be gradual. It moves the people up that have flown pattern for possibly one year. They don't need a large jump into manuvers they may not feel comfortable with.
Now Intermediate to Advanced. I fell that the jump is about right. The maneuvers in Advanced are more challenging, yes, but they are for a more "advanced" pilot. They're not too hard though. I think that when you have made the transition to the middle class, you should be able to fly inverted, do rolls (slow, snap, and point) and also be able to make rudder corrections in lines. The current advanced schedule is good because it gets us ready for the more challenging Masters.

Intermediate for me was learning a little more of how to input rudder corrections to fly lines.

I think maybe if anything possibly a slow roll for intermediate, but most of the intermediate pilots I have seen, don't know how, or just don't input rudder and elevator throughout their rolls. I kinda thought that 3 rolls used to be a good thing, because it taught me how to use rudder and elevator through out my rolls.
Maybe a immelman with 2 of 4 out.
