This is a great thread and helping me to understand a little more about the aircraft.

I purchased an CG Extra 300 that was already assembled, covered, flown, and never crashed, and I got it with only the wing servos installed. Before I read the whole post I had already purchase the OE 3 piece cowl from CG. Now I have never had to join the plastic ones together. Do I just use a strip of fiberglass cloth and some 5 or 30 minute epoxy or just use straight epoxy?

Also, what is the measurement of the engine thrust bearing to the firewall? The CG website provides center of gravity, weight, throws, and engine selection, but all I think I need is the above measurement.
