All planes can roll from kicking the rudder.. You are correct that dihedral will increase the roll coupling, but when any plane kicks the rudder the outside wing will speed up and produce more lift and the opposite for the inside wind hence the outside wing will lift.. Most Aerobatic planes will have minimum coupling which is desired.. I would say you could either mix it out with your radio or go the "old school way" and use your thumbs..
