Default dihedral

hello. can someone give me advice?

my 60 size giles202 has dihedral such way: upper spar i flat and bottom spars have angles. this means about 1degre or something like it. people, i'm 0 in 3D, so I need your advice. do I need to remove this dihedral or let it be? but when applyeing rudder, my plane rolls a little, so i ned to compensate it with elerons. of cource i have some mixes there, but need your advice.

thanks all

Is it a scale giles or a fun-fly based on one? My TT 40 is overpowered enough to hover, but the slow-speed ain't so great and 3d is bordering on impossible, all to do with the surface areas and wing section me thinks.

depends, if it "unrolls" to level flight with rudder then reduce dihedral, and if it rolls to inverted do the opposite thing... that`s the theory

All planes can roll from kicking the rudder.. You are correct that dihedral will increase the roll coupling, but when any plane kicks the rudder the outside wing will speed up and produce more lift and the opposite for the inside wind hence the outside wing will lift.. Most Aerobatic planes will have minimum coupling which is desired.. I would say you could either mix it out with your radio or go the "old school way" and use your thumbs..

I prefer the idea of trying to fix it out ON the plane, another issue is that the lower the wing the more dihedral it will need to avoid coupling, thus, there was someone in a magazine that publish a super decathlon with ANHEDRAL to correct coupling (high wing), there are more factors but are more related to the tail instead of the wing.
So, you can find that in most cases the wing is in the thrust line or very near (to avoid calculating the exact amount of dihedral, and to have same characteristis upside or inverted) for 3D planes
hope this helps
