Well... I've learned a couple lessons flying foam 3D airplanes....

1. CA is really pretty amazing and strong stuff.....

and

2. It reinforces the Bhuddist mantra I learned travelling in Nepal regarding the impermanance of things.....


OK..maybe a third lesson....

Windy, and gusty days aren't the best days to practice tail touch hovering

Oooops..... strong gust... and my 3D foamy Extra was transformed from one really great flying, pretty plane....

to several pieces of foam....Oh well.....
Now, if this happened with my balsa planes I think I would be in tears, but since it is foam.... we will build a new one!

The meaning of my rambling.... foamies rock for plain and simple playing! (and they fly well too......)
