Sounds to me that the hawk that JHH sold is still being produced by at least one if not 2 factories (the original AMD that split) , and the other 2 factories are the imitations. So why would the one being produced by the AMD factory that admitedly produced all of the original JHH hawks not have the same quality????
As I said before I bought mine from
www.kmp.ca (do a search for them here on RCU great planes and customer service) , they explained that their Hawks came from the original factory. They have also offered great customer service and advertise the plane with the correct engines. I have not run into anything that is of bad quality in the kit at all, the fit and finish is terrific all around.

Um, not quite. The point is that unless it came from the AMD factory or us, it's an unauthorized copy. The other factory stole the intellectual property for the design and is selling them as if they were from AMD. All of the factories are doing this and as I mentioned, we know for a fact that there are at lest 4 DIFFERENT factories doing this. All of these kits are coming out of China with the same labels, stickers, everything that has our name and AMD's name plastered all over it! Can you justify paying for a stolen product that is sold as if it were someone elses product? That's fraud! Anyways, I digress. So, these are the facts. Take it or leave it. Unfortunately, too many people are concerned with the all mighty $$...and not what that $$ actually buys you. Personally, I would much rather buy a product from someone who knows how it works, knows what it takes to make it work, and will always help you anytime you call/email with a question...that's where there's value added to the product. You can't get that from these knockoffs...
