RE: AMD Hawk.
So if AMD still produces the kit why did JHH stop selling them? Sure there may be compitition but if the original factory is still making the kits then wouldn't it be easier to offer a quality product to the consumer than to leave us stuck with "cheap" imitations. Its not like there are a lot of options for a jet this size in the ARF category, I feel this particular plane kind of has its own niche at the moment I just have a feeling that there is 2 sides to this story and I wish we could here directly from someone on the manufacturing side of this story, but I am happy with mine (which I would have bought from JHH if they still sold them) I'll just have to see how it performs in the air.
BTW SJN, on mine the rear servo tray was already installed and my servo hatches fit perfectly into the wing panels. The only modification I did to the entire airframe was add a 6in wide strip of Carbon Fiber to the center section of the wing for extra strength. The one part that didn't fit too well was the belly "tray" (covers the middle of the bottom of the wing) , but then again I've never had a plane that this part fit well, and the end result came out well.
