You can use either an iron or a heat gun. I prefer the iron. It should only take 10 seconds to tighten the covering over one square foot. With the iron, you rub it smoothly over the area to be tightened back and forth a few times. Over solid areas, you can use your other hand to press the film down with a cloth. Over open areas, just press it down on the ribs.
