One other thought on how to get this thing to work, instead of trying to make the a-arms fit, how about the whole diff? The diffs on the Mayhem buggy were described as narrower than normal buggy diffs, if these can be made to mount on your chassis then the standard arms and shock towers would be used from this buggy. I will be going to my lhs in a few days so I will take a few measurements from the bottom of a few of the buggies they have there and let you know how close they are to CENs' measurements. Alternatively, if you ask nicely in the buggy forum, maybe some kind soul will measure their diff dimensions for you? Might be worth a try. If it works you would never have to worry about blowing your diff gears again!! No way a small block, even the OS.18tz would hurt them.
