Understand that I have been building airplanes for many years. I have never built an ARF. However I was open minded about then as they became more popular. Just recently a member of the club I belong to, who had limited building skills, asked me to help him assemble his ARF pride and joy.

The airplane is a Hanger 9 CAP 232 ARF. I must say that it is the worst piece of junk I have ever seen fall out of a kit box. Vague instructions, poor quality wood, poor fits and a covering so wrinkled it would make a hippopotamus look good. Is this typical of ARFs or is Hanger 9 at the bottom of the quality food chain?
