for a more permanent set up, i'd hardwire everything as well. the plug and play advantage of the solderless connections allows for quick swaps of ESC/Motor combinations making the search for the "perfect" combo a bit easier, which sold me on the idea of connectors. i feel like a noob in the electric world being gone from them for almost 10 years, so until i can find myself something im happy with, i wont be soldering anything for a while
