Default RE: MIG 29 completed!

I'll bring this back to the top and maybe Hank will jump on here Monday and get you those measurements. I had the honors of maidening this Jet on Saturday. Absolutely wonderful flying Jet. I have a lot of experiance changing CG's from Top Gun's recommendations. TG recommends 1 inch back off the main hatch, we went 1 inch and three quarters back. I believe this is the rock solid CG point for this airplane. Landing and roll out was around 50 feet or so.

First take off with the byron was uneventful but flat. Takes a long time for that new engine to get on step. Once I got it to altitude, got it all trimmed out, the jet flew beautifully. I had 30% expo on elev and ail, and I believe that is a very good setup for that airplane based on recommended throws.

On the second flight we were getting lean engine and the flight ended in deadstick. Brought it in right on the numbers, decided to come back on it another day, drank beer and ate shrimp. It's always fun to fly someone else's airplane, especially when it fly's as good as this one did!

Hank, thanks for letting me help you out, I had a great time.
