Actually I have never tried to hand start my G-26. I have an electric starter that I have been using. The problem is that I have decided to move toward gas vs. glow. I have gotten rid of all but one of my glow engines and it's probably going eventually. I also have a DA-50 and Brison 3.2 which I hand start. I would like to begin hand starting the G-26 also and then I could quit taking the starter, most of the time anyway. I also like the idea of losing a pound or so on the G-26. I am familiar with CH Ignitions but I see in a previous post someone mentioned R.C. Ignition. Now I am wondering which on them to go with. I am going to investigate them a little more tonight...prices, service, etc. Any thoughts?
