yea if you have other sims or games that require hardware similar too AFPD try them and see what happens

if you know how to..pull out the sound card and enable sound in the bios...could be a sound card issue..also check in the bios and make sure onboard sound is disabled when you are using the sound card

did you try uninstalling/installing AFPD....i doubt that will make the difference but it's worth a try
