Default RE: DA-50 verses BME 50

There are a lot of discussions on this subject. I have experience with the BME , ZDZ(RCS), 3W, DA, Brison and Fox. DA gets my vote. Better power, easy to mount (believe it or not that carb is very easy to mount, easier that the others and comes with control arm installed), lighter weight, and, in the event you should ever need it - world class service.

DA truly understands what service is about. 3W is a close second, but the others I have had issues with after the sale when it comes to service or support - not bad, just not like DA.

In the end - any of the engines above will serve you well.. its really a ford vs. chevy thing you have to make your choice based on what your gut tells you.

I use DA and 3W because they are in my back yard. Anything I need is only a few hours away and they ALWAYS answer their phones.
I hate waiting for email returns...

My next plane will have either a DA100 or BME110.

BTW - at last check the DA was only running 2 weeks wait.
