I would try to clean the carb/s. It has fixed more than one dynamix. As far as an upgrade-- to another carb, I think it would be just the opposite.
The Webra 32 Speed that was sold with the dynamix was an ABC-dykes ring( some refer to it as the fun-fly version). It is much better than the GT series, that has the TN II carb. They are still very good engines, just not as much performance as the older more expensive version.
I think if you get the carb working properly, you will start trying to find other engines that the dynamix will fit-- to give them that explosive transition and flawless handling. You owe it to yourself to try...........
