RE: learn 3d, the Scale way
Sorry to say this but if you mean for a 46 sized 2C engine then I have to say almost all scale 46 sized planes cannot 3D with the 46 2C engine. A 46 sized 2C engine will 3D/prop hang only if the plane is about 5.5 lbs. Best to be about 5 lbs. I think the Matt Chapman is about 6 lbs I think, check out the ARF thread on it in here. You can try the WM Extra 30. That plane will be very nice on a 46 but its a little small (relatively speaking).
I got the Fliton Extra 330 and seemingly it will be about 5.5 lbs with a Saito 72, maybe something like an OS46AX might be a good combination for this plane. Also, check out the review of the CMPro Katana 50 in RCU, they used a 50 sized 2C and they could 3D her so easily, dig the knife edge ... maybe a 46 can too if you push it harder.
