Default RE: Fancy Foam Options help...

Now that I think about it a little more, I think you're right - it is a fried receiver. That little mishap hooking up the battery backwards will end up costing me about 130 before this is all said and done. Last night, when i finally said "to heck with it" every servo on the plane was wigging out bad and jittering and jerking all over the place. I assumed it was a dead battery, but i'm not totally convinced. Thinking that I have a bad receiver better aligns with everything that's going on. For instance, if i turn the plane on with out the Tx on, all servos jump about 1/8 forward.... I've never seen this before. If the Tx is then turned on, everything (except the elevator of course) zeros back to center. By rule, i always try to have the tx on first, but i did notice that once during all of my trial and error processes. If turned on and off several times, the servos would eventually end up torquing all the way against a flight surface and bind against. This doesn't seem right to me. I'll try it again tonight on a fresh mind and battery and see what happens. I'll advise.
