You can check out the AMA which is where you get your RC flying insurance. They have a search area where you plunk in what state you live in and a list of RC clubs will show up. Follow the link below. If there is a hobby shop in your area that sells RC planes, ask them, they will know where the flyers go and if there are any nearby clubs. Btw, runways don't have to be made of asphalt or cement. Our club has 2 long runways which is just nice grass cut like a lawn. You need a bit bigger tires to roll over the grass but it makes the landings softer if you bounce. Bounce on cement and you have a broken prop! [8D]
