OK. On a freshly charged battery with the esc in channel 1 (throttle on JR) and the aileron on channel 2 and 6, with the elevator in 3 and the rudder in 4, everything seems to be working correctly. THis foamy has been quite the experience for me. Thanks everyone for the help.

Exeter / Edge - Are you two flying futaba? I am wondering after looking at more JR docs and such if they are channeled a little different. My Funtana's receiver has channel 1 as the throttle and such as I listed above. I referenced the labels on that JR receiver (assuming that my JR transmitter's channels were 1 through 9 in relation to how the receiver that came with the remote is laid out. -- I assumed the first slot on the bottom of the receiver is channel 1) (ASS U ME) and cross referenced the channels over to the hitec electron 6. Everything's working now it seems. If i can get this Oklahoma wind to stop blowing or find a nice teacher friend with a gymnasium (hint hint) i'll take it for a spin. Thanks again.
