Well from looking at another forum I have noticed that almost everyone has modified the T-Rex to eCCPM and reports vastly improved flight characteristics, amongst other mods. Is it really necessary to modify this heli to get it fly well?

I mean I cannot think of a single mod I had to do to my Raptor 50 to get it flying well. I did change the flybar paddles to increase cyclic response, but it flew well stock.

I'd like to get a small heli to fly at home and work. It must be CP and preferably not require serious mods to fly decently. I consider myself an intermediate heli pilot. All I am interested in an electric heli doing right now is loops, rolls and inverted flight, nothing real serious IMO. I'll leave the more serious stuff to my R50. I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't wait a while longer i hopes that the small electric helis will improve.
