Default RE: 1.20 Edge Review, the beginnings

ORIGINAL: olstoney

Hello All,
I ran across Tom's ad just as I was going to order a Pacific Aero Edge. My friend has a WH Giles and I was so impressed with the quality of the plane that I changed my mind. My friend is at the Toledo show and is placing my order with Tom there. I did ask Tom about using the YS 110FZ on the Edge as that is what I have avaiable. Bearing in mind that I am really not wanting to 3D, just sport fly and start learn basic IMAC, Tom advised me that the 110 would fly the plane just fine. I would appreciate any input into prop and servo selections. I have Hitec HS-525 MG'S, 625MG'S and 635HB'S available. I probably will not purchase the WH hardware kit as I have CF rods and HD Dubro control horns in stock. I'll be using a HD ED switch and a No BS 1650MH 4.8V battery pack, but am open to suggestions. Any input would be welcomed including the correctly sized spinner.
Put a 625 on the Rudder for sure

The 625's are good with full 3d Travels on elevator and ailerons 45°+

The 635HBs are good on the the elevators 40° max(2 servos) if using 1 pull pull servo use 625mg.

The 635HB's are good on the ailerons 20° max

The 525 is good for the throttle.

This is only my educated guess--my opinion
