The prop, battery, and weight of the plane are also factors. At 9.9 oz RTF it is very strong. Lately I have been liking the 9x3.8 with the smaller packs but even with the added weight going to the Apogee 830 it is much better with the 10. Either way the 2208 is way plenty if built right.
