The BGX-3500 weight is 49 oz without a muffler. Add 6 oz for the muffler. That is close to the weight of my BME 44. It weight is 59 oz with the engine, muffler, ingition, and battery.

Did you do anything special to get the 14.5 LBS weight? Did the plane required any lead to balance? I am glad someone has finally flown this plane!
