Steelwoolghandi- I don't know where you read what you read but I just went to the Club web sites I listed. I couldn't tell from the Austin RC site so I e-mailed him about students and have not received an answer yet. The other club, Hill Country, has about 14 instructors on staff for student training. Why don't you check out their site and contact them directly if you are serious.

Bruce
Like I said above I got the info off the AMA website it says when I look up the different local clubs (note local the closest is 34 miles away for an AMA club) anyway it says they do not allow INTRO pilots I might be reading that wrong but that sounds like no newbies to me? The closest AMA club listed that will take INTRO pilots is BRAZOS VALLEY RC MODELERS 68 miles away.

As Jim said there is a club in Smithville and I think I know of one in Manor they are just not AMA but they are closer I am serious about finding a local club but I would like to find one that takes Newbies but also one closer by if I find the close ones (non AMA) do not take Newbies then I will contact the Farther ones (AMA Clubs). That’s all I was trying to say Bruce.

Thanks for the Offer Jim any info or help would be appreciated.
