Hey Andy, have you flown this beast w/the 3w48 yet? Now you have me thinking about that engine instead of the RCS44b2. And another reason is because I am in Frankfurt Germany right now and the 3W factory is only 11 miles from where I am at. Haven't gotten to pay it a visit yet, but definantly plan to. Thinking maybe that it would be cheaper to buy it on thier economy than to order it on the states. Plus who knows, factory direct prices???? Hmmmm....makes ya think,huh!!!!!
I have not flown it yet. It should be finished this weekend. Regardless of the cowl dimensions the 3W48B2 fits under my cowl with the plug wires on the plugs and it does not rub/touch. I like the engine, but I'm partial to 3w. I have two of their engines.
If you could buy it there and get it home, I would.
