RE: CMP Hellcat
Hi Milkman,
I recently purchased one of the CMP Zeros from [link=http://www.Raidentech.com]Raidentech[/link] . It was a good price, and believe I paid $16 for shipping from California to Maine. They shipped it out within 2 days after ordering, and it arrived within a week. I can't vouch for their customer service since I have not had to contact them for anything. I am happy with the ordering and shipping experience however.
I'm also very impressed with the [link=http://www.cmpairplane.com]CMP[/link] kit. I haven't started the assembly yet, (still gathering engine, retracts, servos etc) but just had to open the box and admire the pieces. Very nice quality fuse, cowl, canopy, and the wing covering looks flawless.
The Hellcat was going to be my second choice for a warbird. Who know's I just might end up with one after I finish up the Zero!
Warks62, Thanks for the info on your exhaust. Looks good, and I've been considering the Saito 150 to power my Zero. I haven't ruled out possibly trying a small gasoline engine though. Decisions, decisions...
Rgds,
