I think most guys are not using the backplate, or they are going to the local hardware store and purchasing longer screws. I installed rockcity hardware in my elavaters, but found my screws were to big for the ailerons. The clearence was to small between the wing and servo arm. I might just use the stock with longer screws for the back plate, unless flyers think just the horn is enough!
