GUYS: I used the backplates with long screws and nuts on them with thin C/A on them. This is a great flying plane and with the big engines on them the screws shake loose if they are not tight and glued. Don't let a horn come loose and put you down the time you spend is worth it all. The plates don't help the looks but its better to be safe than sorry. The 3D puts lots of pressure on the horns on them large control surfaces. So kept that in mind as you put things together so you can get lots of flights out of your plane. I fly pattern and i have run this plane threw some wild stuff and its stayed together and tight so don't take short cuts take your time do it up right.
