Default RE: Extra on a diet

I lightened up one today to . I had 3 maidens to do today . 1 A CG military cub . 2 A Dragon lady . 3 a Worlds models P-51 . I swear this P-51 is haunted or something . I bought it over a year ago after it had a Gravity incident . I rebuilt the firewall and fixed the elevator . Ive tried to fly this plane 3 times before . Everything will check out at home I get it to the field and somethings goofed up . One time servos started glitching all over the place .. Another time it wouldnt start . .. Pinched fuel line . Third trip retracts wouldnt drop backdown while testing them . So over the winter I went threw this plane top to bottom a zillion times determined to fly it this spring . Well I get her to the field today . Checked her out twice . Even put in a new glow plug Just Because .. Field tested the radio ... Fired her up Field tested again .Rechecked battery voltage .. AHHH she finally ready . I started her up . Took it off my stand .. Walked a couple feet with it ready and running then tripped over my own two feet . The nose hit the ground and I kinda half fell forward on it breaking the motor mount , cowling and part of the elevator ..L.O.L...Oh well back to the old rebuilding table . Good news is the Dragon Lady flew almost perfect with just a few clicks of the trim here and there . The Cub I have Kenny from the South Park Cartoon ((( The one who always Dies )) As the Pilot . Well Kenny flew 4 great flights and is still alive to fly another day . It just felt great to be out in the Wisconsin sunshine enjoying this hobby again . And always remeber .. A bad day flying Always beats a good day at work !!!!
