Crash Test
I recently had the "opportunity" to find out how well the front-end is built. My throttle servo decided to quit working while at idle. I wasn't quite close enough to get back to the strip and it ended up in a ditch just the other side of our field. I thought for sure I was going to find the whole front-end pushed back into the fuse but all that happend was some damage to the cowl, which you can't see when looking from above, a couple cowl mounting blocks broke off, one wheel pant cracked on the bottom, and of course the prop. All I had done to beef things up was to add a little tri-stock to the landing gear plate. I was extremely pleased to see that the mounting box didn't budge, even though the spinner had buried itself in the side of the ditch.
