Well I just picked up the PW300 at the LHS. I have 5625's and 5645's for all the surfaces and a FPE 3.2 for the power.

I've read through the majority of the posts here which is what pushed me to buy this plane.

Couple of questions for those that have been flying it for a while.

First: What's the consensus on hinges? I was planning on Robart hinge points, however was wondering how well they are holding being the plane was designed for CA hinges. I've also considered Dubro pinned hinges. Any advise on what's holding up well so far would be appreciated.

Second: What the recommendation on control horns for the surfaces? Seems like, based on the pictures, most are sticking with the supplied control horns. Normally I would use Rocket City hardware, however, I am not sure there's enough hardwood in the mounting area to support that type of horn. Again, what seems to be working for those of you flying?

Third: I was planning on 5645's on each side of the rudder. However I remember someone telling me not to use 2 digitals on a rudder in this configuration because they may fight to return to center and drain the battery. Any thoughts on this?

Fourth: What are some thoughts on redundant batteries? I am considering 2 6v 2700 size batteries with 2 switch's connected direct to the receiver.
